"John Adams Unbound"

John Adams Unbound is a national traveling panel exhibition that explores the personal library of one of the our founding fathers. Adams' personal library-- a collection of 3,400 books willed by Adams to the people of Massachusetts-- provides first-hand insight into how John Adams shaped American history and how he was shaped through his lifelong dedication to reading and books. The Boston Public Library and the American Library Association organized the exhibit with support from the National Endowment for the Humanities. Free and open to the public during regular library hours.

"Abraham Lincoln: A Man for His Time, A Man for All Time

Abraham Lincoln: A Man for His Time, A Man for All Times is a national traveling panel exhibition organized by the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History and funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities. Drawing on recent scholarship, this exhibition presents reproductions of Lincoln's words, supplemented by letters, photographs and images from Civil War soldiers and their families. Free and open to the public during regular library hours.
